History of Faith Mission Ministries, Inc. - Clarksville, Tennessee
Out of a vision and hunger for lost souls, God had given Pastor Browning three words in the summer of 1982. They were, Faith, Mission, and Ministries. God spoke to Pastor Browning, and said, "In order to carry out such a vision, you must have great faith to complete this mission." God told our pastor that "He would birth ministries from his ministry".
The Faith Mission Ministries Church was organized July 9,1994, at 3316 Carrie Dr. Clarksville TN., at the home of our pastors, Harold and Gwen Browning. There were 14 people present for our first Bible study, where God saved, healed, and delivered from the very beginning.
The pastor and congregation searched for suitable quarters, and had its third service in the Winner’s Circle Hotel conference room, which we held, services for more than 55 parishioners. To accommodate such a fast growing Church, the pastor and trustees began to search for a larger building to hold our services.
In the fall of 1995, the Faith Mission Church moved to our present location 1215B Ft. Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville, Tennessee. Faith Mission has exceeded the growth of our current sanctuary, and is in our final stages before construction on our new sanctuary, which will seat over 1200.
Faith Mission is a church with a vision, coming out of the confinements of the assembly, so the bruised and the unchurched can experience the reality of Jesus Christ. It is our desire at Faith Mission to provide solid, Bible centered answers to life's issues, and at the same time create an atmosphere of warm fellowship with true concern as we worship together.
We are committed to teaching the principles of the entire Bible. We are committed to educating and enlightening the total man. We are committed to declaring to the world and satan, that we are the righteousness of God, declared righteous by His act of love, in giving His life for us.
